Blue Ridge Independence Day Parade

July 4 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

It’s a parade in the mountains!!! Also an after-party.

Muster 1:  7:30am.  Band room for carpooling. (Google maps: 1:20-1:50 travel time. Pre arrange carpooling to make sure someone else wants to carpool, many will go directly there or spend the night in Blue Ridge)
Muster 2:  9:30am.  St. Anthony Catholic Church, 967 E Main St, Blue Ridge 30513
Step off:  10:00am, we parade then standstill briefly.  Sara (our parade host) won’t be there but her proxy is providing tons of water.
Broom/Backup:  Patricia
Whisk: Mary K (likely conducting a bit at the standstill)
Costume:  Patriotic. Red, white, and blue.

Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate.. Even though water will be provided, bring your own just in case.  Also, prepare for rainy weather (40% chance of rain Thursday).  We play rain or shine and if you pack your poncho it will definitely shine. It is a law of life.  Also pack a light something the low in Blue Ridge is 67.
