Saturday 1/26/2019. It’s groundhod day! Will it be 6 more weeks of this dreaded cold? (I am writing this from the past on 11/30/2018.. it has been cold but it is about to be warm-ish). I am putting this here so you all know this is coming. The details for this year are still TBD due to some conflicts with the Super Bowl and overlap with Lanta Gras. Stay tuned.
Muster: TBD Yaarab Temple courtyard
Step off: TBD
Costume: Mardi Gras or Band Colors, TBD
Parking: At the shrine but it is tight please carpool or uber or both!
Marta: Not impossible but it is a bit of a walk from North Avenue to here. Maybe look into bus routes too.
We’re starting the show for the 40th annual Jugglers Festival! We kick off this festival in style. A long standing tradition for them and us. We’ll march in, play about 4 songs, and head back out. When we leave, we go on a journey down Ponce and blitz everywhere we can.. You really need to try this out.. a band crossing Ponce is a sight to behold.. we get encouraging honks, cheers, we play on the corners and inside Krispy Kremes.. If you are new to blitzing or missed Boogie Man come get your fix! You never know where the path takes us but at the end you’ll be way satisfied.. Oh, you can stay for the juggler show if you prefer.. but really stick around and come blitz on Ponce.
