Juggler’s Festival 2019 (note date change and tight double-gig schedule)

January 26 @ 12:30 pm - 1:04 pm

Saturday 1/26/2019. It’s groundhod day! Will it be 6 more weeks of this dreaded cold? (I am writing this from the past on 11/30/2018.. it has been cold but it is about to be warm-ish).  I am putting this here so you all know this is coming. The details for this year are different than usual due to some conflicts with the Super Bowl and overlap with Lanta Gras.  Read carefully below.

Muster:  12:20pm, Yaarab Temple Courtyard, please be in place on time
Step off:  12:45pm, prompt at 12:45pm we will be done by 1:05pm to run over to Kirkwood for Lanta Gras
Costume:  Mardi Gras or Band Colors, TBD
Broom: Ronda
Incorrigibles: Welcome

Parking: At the shrine but it is tight please carpool or uber or both!

Marta: Not impossible but it is a bit of a walk from North Avenue to here.  Maybe look into bus routes too.  If you Marta you might not make both gigs.

We’re starting the show for the 40th annual Jugglers Festival!  We kick off this festival in style.  A long standing tradition for them and us.  We’ll march in, play about 4 songs, and head back out. When we leave, this year, we’ll be heading over fast as we can to Kirkwood to make Lanta Gras parade.  The conflict was created when the Juggler’s Festival space was committed elsewhere for their usual date.  At that point we’d already confirmed Lanta Gras (10 months earlier).  See that event’s page for details on good routes and parking information for big instruments.
