About

The Seed & Feed Marching Abominable, Atlanta’s wildest community band, has been thrilling audiences since 1974, performing at home and on the road in festivals, on stages, and in support of community events and fundraisers of all kinds.

Throughout its history, the Band has electrified audiences with its trademark style of explosive sound and colorful street theater. Originally formed as part of a theatre company, the band is well known for its fancifully costumed performers as well as its high-energy music.

On vacation in Charleston and part of traditional itinerary is visit to farmers market at Marion Square. This year we were treated to a most enjoyable performance by your band. What fun! If only we lived closer, maybe the clarinet would be put together again.
Thank you so very much for really making our day!

Hi – I’m looking to hire a marching band to perform for about 10 minutes to kick off a business conference on January 13th, 2015. I would like to know if the band is available and how much it would cost. Please call me and I can tell you more about it.

    Thanks!

I just wanted to let you know your reputation precedes you. Last week my daughters band instructor mentioned your band was playing at Piccolo Spoleto. I then discovered why my daughter wanted to go to Marion Square on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm when your band started playing. Of course we then came back for the 11 pm concert at the Customs House. It was an absolute hoot to watch / listen. The two young ladies shirts from the 11 pm concert “I’m not like other teens, I’m in my 60s” fit the band to a T. The energy level that all of the members displayed for that hour as incredible.
My daughter was already leaning toward going to Georgia Tech, but Saturday you gave her another reason to go there as she wants to join the band. So hopefully in a few years you’ll be looking for a Mellophone player!
